SRH vs RR Live Streaming

A spirited performance from Rajasthan Royals helped them get past Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2026 Eliminator. The home side racked up a huge total of 228 for 6 wickets, thanks to Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s stunning hundred and contributions from Dhruv Jurel and Yashasvi Jaiswal.

But it was RR’s bowling that took the limelight as they dismantled SRH’s top order early on and restricted them to just 63 in their powerplay. Jofra Archer’s pace and fire was a big reason behind this as he got the wickets of Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan and Heinrich Klaasen.

SRH’s batsmen struggled to come to terms with his pace, as they kept losing wickets in quick succession. In the end, a late push from Sooryavanshi couldn’t lift them over the line.

The batting lineup of RR consists of some excellent players who can win matches for the team. They will look to continue their superb run of form in the tournament with a strong performance against SRH on Wednesday.

A fantastic start from RR has put them in a commanding position against SRH. They were cruising well inside the first eight overs and looked set to post a mammoth total for themselves.

But then, a collapse from the hosts started as they lost four wickets in an over. Their innings fell apart, and they ended up falling short by 47 runs at the end of the match.

It was a thrilling encounter that saw some brilliant cricket from both sides. The batting lineup of SRH boasted some very talented batsmen like Abhishek Sharma, Ishankishan and Heinrich Klaasen, who were backed by the bowling of Pat Cummins, Sakib Hussain and Jofra Archer.

RR, on the other hand, have some excellent young talent in their ranks with Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel. The bowling unit has also been outstanding, with the likes of Jofra Archer, Donovan Ferreira and Ravindra Jadeja taking multiple wickets for the side.

SRH vs RR Live Score

A sensational innings from Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and a clinical performance from the Rajasthan Royals bowlers has knocked out the Sunrisers Hyderabad from the tournament. SRH’s chase never took off as Jofra Archer dismantled their top order in the powerplay. Dhruv Jurel and Heinrich Klaasen also chipped in with half-centuries but they lost wickets in clusters towards the end.

In reply, SRH were restricted to 144/7 with Yuzvendra Chahal and Trent Boult picking up three wickets each. Jos Buttler then led the way with a brilliant 124 off 64 balls which included eleven fours and eight sixes. He was named the Player of the Match.

RR’s Heinrich Klaasen was dismissed for just 30 runs, which is the lowest in an IPL innings since 2025. Brijesh Sharma tried a high full toss on leg and Klaasen was well above the waist when he attempted to sweep the ball.

The batsman went for the review but replays confirmed it was a no ball. SRH now require 47 runs in eight balls. This is a huge target for the home side. Earlier, SRH openers David Warner and Jonny Bairstow shared a 132-run stand in just 10 overs for the first wicket of the game.

SRH vs RR Prediction

The winner of this Eliminator will play the loser of Qualifier 1 for a place in the IPL final. Both sides have the firepower to post large totals on this batting paradise in New Chandigarh and with the pressure of knockout cricket often bringing out the best in batters, we expect plenty of runs.

SRH are the better team on current form, finishing position and head-to-head and will be keen to maintain their momentum ahead of the final stage. They have won both of the previous meetings this season and arrive here as a side that nobody wants to face in a knockout game.

RR, on the other hand, are coming into this match after a rollercoaster ride that saw them claw their way back from a lowly placed position to reach this stage. They’ve been involved in two high-pressure games already this season, and that might have rubbed off on some of their players, but they still possess the ability to cause a upset here.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has been on fire for RR and could be key again here. He smashed a 103 off 37 balls in their last meeting and will be looking to continue his fine run of form when he faces SRH bowlers like Praful Hinge and Sakib Al Hasan. If he can put his best foot forward early on, the 11/5 with Betfair Sportsbook that he reaches 50 could pay handsomely.

Whether or not he can do so, the rest of the RR batsmen will need to get off to a fast start. They do have a top order capable of providing explosive starts in Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head, but if they cannot deal with the ruthless nature of SRH’s bowling attack, they will struggle.

Jofra Archer, meanwhile, is a dangerous operator and will be hoping to do the same thing that he did in the earlier meeting this season when he struck three wickets against them. The 8/1 with Betfair Sportsbook that he strikes again will be tempting, too.

SRH vs RR Live Commentary

A sensational innings from Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, aided by a clinical bowling performance, has given the Rajasthan Royals the perfect start to their IPL campaign. The youngster reached his first hundred off 37 balls and was ably supported by a responsible fifty from Dhruv Jurel as the Royals built up an unassailable lead.

RR are averaging nearly 300 in their last four games while scoring more than 240 in all of their other innings this season. They have also won all their previous six chases, including the past three IPL matches.

The visitors will look to build on their superb start by putting the ball in play early and keeping the run-rate high. But they must be wary of a SRH team that is at its best when the batsmen are on top of their game.

Jofra Archer returns to the attack, and with it comes a much-needed recalibration for the Royals. They have leaked runs in the Powerplay, and though Archer and Burger are still the only genuine threats with the ball, their lack of application has allowed SRH to run through their overs without breaking sweat.

Sooryavanshi gets a full toss on the leg side and smacks it with force, putting it over midwicket for a boundary. He will look to add to his tally in the next over.

FOUR! A good start to the over from Sooryavanshi as he smacks it straight down the ground for another boundary. He’ll go for a bigger shot in the next over but the ball goes wide of square, flying to the fence behind long-on.

As seen in the Rajasthan Royals Vs Sunrisers Hyderabad Match Scorecard, Kishan is OUT! Sloppy fielding from RR sees him beaten for pace at deep square leg. He looks to flick the ball towards covers, but the catcher rolls on his follow-through and takes a fine catch to deny him a quickfire fifty. The score is 227/3, and RR will need to bat out the rest of the overs to have any chance of a comeback.
